Tarot cards will teach you how to build a soul. I have always been drawn to things that piqued my curiosity, that seemed interesting to me, but that I did not understand. Tarot cards fascinated me because they were so strange. I began to study them card by card. I noticed their structure – 22 Major Arcana (mysteries) and 56 Minor Arcana. I saw their categories – swords, wands, cups and pentagrams. I identified them and continued to study them. But I could not fully understand the tarot cards.

Then I started to mix them up. I saw how they could be put together and I realized that the 78 cards could be combined into a mandala, into a single image. When you look at all the tarot cards at once, you realize that they create a whole. Only after you have analyzed this unit can you begin to read the tarot.

You should not talk about the future. The future is a deception. Tarot is a language that speaks about the present. If you use it to predict the future, then you are just a fraud, a charlatan and nothing more. For me, tarot is something much deeper. It represents a deep psychological search. When you work with tarot, you understand that there is possibility, there is synchronicity, everything is connected. Nothing is a matter of probability. If you put your soul into something, that phenomenon will happen. When you are determined, when you penetrate that dimension, I call it the dance of reality – the world dances around you and gives you what you ask for.

One day I met a man who couldn't speak. I don't know how old he was. He said to me,  "I am a descendant of the Camoin family, which has been printing tarot cards for two centuries. I need your help to restore the Marseille tarot."

He had the old cards of this tarot, carved in wood, and different collections of tarot cards. He gave me all the necessary materials and we restored that tarot. We brought it back to the way it was in the year 1400. We couldn't go any further, because there was no data. But that tarot is as old as it can be. We restored the 11 colors, the symbols, everything. Every element on the tarot cards symbolizes something. They are a huge encyclopedia of symbols, a powerful optical language.

All the playing cards we know today have their origins in the tarot, including poker cards. But poker doesn't have 78 cards, it has 26 fewer. In Kabbalah, the number 26 is the number of God. Poker is a card game without God.

Everywhere I went, I found different types of tarot. I managed to collect over 1,500 tarot cards. But I knew that there was one tarot from which all the others had descended.

"The only secret, the true tarot, is the tarot of Marseilles," said André Breton. "I don't understand it, but I respect it."

So, I began to study the Marseille Tarot:

The Madman – complete freedom, without limits, without definition;

The Wizard – the beginning, the right choice;

Priestess – accumulated experience;

The Empress – an explosion of creativity, but without direction;

Empire – stability and material security;

Pope – a step beyond stability, the beginning of the spiritual journey;

The Lover – the ability to make the right choice, connection with the world;

Chariot – action and success in the world;

Justice – getting what you deserve;

Hermit – introspection, inner journey for spiritual enlightenment;

Wheel of Fortune – the end of a cycle, the transition to another dimension;

Strength – recognizing and channeling inner power;

The Dependent Man – withdrawal from the world to achieve deep awareness;

Nameless Arcana – great transformation, rebirth;

Temperance – healing and balancing energies;

The Devil – facing desires and the power of creativity without fear;

Tower – destruction of limitations, opening to the unknown;

Star – finding your place and acting in harmony;

Moon – instinct, poetry, the power of the subconscious;

The sun – the beginning of a new life, love and full enlightenment;

Judgment – ??the union of all aspects of being, superior intelligence;

The world – full consciousness, harmony between soul, mind and body.

We start with the Fool, who symbolizes unlimited freedom, and move through all the Arcana, until we reach the World, which represents complete union. The word "yoga", religion, philosophy, all relate to this concept: union.

A cellular organism survives only when it is connected to its environment. If it breaks ties with its environment, it dies. The same goes for the human soul. If it is not connected to the world and people, it withers.

The Madman travels the world to make connections. When you are connected to everything, you have no more enemies .
