It turns out that girls are much happier not wearing a ring than boys. :)
A study found that 61% of British women are basically quite comfortable with being single, while only 49% of men feel the same way.
The survey also found that single women are not looking to change their relationship status; 75 percent said they had not looked for partners in the past year.
The reason women don't want to have a partner may be simple: Relationships are hard work. One expert said it requires much more effort from a woman in a heterosexual relationship than from a male partner.

By spending more time and money on curating their appearance and putting much more effort into solving problems in the relationship, being in a heterosexual relationship for girls turns out to be much more tiring.
At the end of the day, they are simply happier being alone. They find it much easier to socialize and know how to have a good time among friends. They are happy just like that, independent, organizing their time as they want, without depending on anyone else.
