Starting next year, South East Technological University (SETU) in Carlow, Ireland will offer an influencer degree .

The Bachelor of Arts in Content Creation and Social Media will provide students with a comprehensive insight into the lucrative and influencer-driven profession.

Course units will include crisis management, public relations, celebrity studies, social psychology, and video and audio editing.

To some extent, SETU's school of influence offers courses similar to those of a digital marketing degree.

Experts have pointed out that the demand among young people for professions outside the traditional 9-to-5 has increased since the pandemic.

It is expected that the interest of students in this branch will be quite high.
