According to the 'Triangolo di Sternberg', the triangular theory, there are 6 types of love. This theory describes love as the angles of a triangle. Each of its vertices has a component.

Intimacy: Related to closeness and physical connection in a relationship

Passion: Related to sexual desires

Inclusion: The couple attempts to compromise, but without neglecting individual desires

The union of two of these components or the presence of all three constitute the 7 types of love.

You can find yours:

Affection

It happens when only passion is present, because there was no time for a deeper feeling.

Empty love

When only the third element is present: inclusion. They are usually the ones who stay together because of inertia.

Romantic love

When there is desire and intimacy then love is romantic.

Friendly love

There are elements of intimacy and commitment, but not passion. It is a stronger than usual and lasting kind of friendship, but there is no sexual desire in between. They are long-lived couples who continue to be together even though the passion has ended.

Unfortunate love

When there is passion and involvement. These types of relationships do not last in time.

Consumed love

This is the most complete type of love because it includes all three components and they are in perfect balance with each other. Difficult to achieve, but not impossible. The name "spent" may seem like "expired" love, but in fact it is called so after it has reached all three levels.
