Rita Ora has spoken about rumors of a fight between her and Rihanna in a new special interview with Louis Theroux.
The two artists signed with The Roc Nation, the record agency owned by Jay Z, which also became the cause of news of an alleged dispute between them.
In 2015, Ora sued the label seeking to leave him after claiming she was allowed to release only one album, despite creating many others.
''Roc Nation'' objected, and then both sides reached an agreement in May 2016.
Ora spoke about it in an interview where she was asked why her songs weren't released.
"I don't know," Ora replied. "I recorded songs for two or three years in a row. I recorded a music video and they took it off. I felt really disappointed."
Stopping at Rihanna, Theroux asked her: "It has been reported that all the songs went to Rihanna – she was undoubtedly the best known artist. She was initially refusing everything and would sit down to see it all herself. But you couldn't do something like that and she had a problem with you."
However, Rita gave a diplomatic response, saying that in this industry they want to pit women against each other. However, he added that she has always been a fan of Rihanna and enjoys respect for her.
"I can't speak on behalf of other people, but I think they always put women against each other. I've been nothing but a fan and I'll always be. I have respect for him."
