Actress Eva Mendes posted a photo showing a tattoo that reads "de gosling" on the inside of her wrist.
Gosling is the surname of actor Ryan Gosling, who is also her partner of 11 years.
In Spanish culture, women keep their maiden surname and add "de" before their partner's surname to indicate that it is also their surname after marriage. So her married name would be Eva Mendes de Gosling.
It's possible that Mendes' tattoo could just be symbolic of her long-term relationship, but sharing a photo of her posed this way seems somewhat intentional.
Eva and Ryan have been together since 2011 and met on the set of the movie "The Place Beyond the Pines".
