Actor Roger E. Mosley has died at the age of 83, following injuries sustained in a serious car accident in Lynwood, Los Angeles, last week.
The daughter of the actor Ch-a, who had earlier shared the news of the accident with her friends, confirmed her father's death to the 'Hollywood Reporter'.
" We can never mourn such a wonderful man. He would hate any crying on his behalf. It is time to celebrate the legacy he left for us all.
I love you daddy. My heart is broken, but I am strong. I will take care of mom, your love of almost 60 years. Rest in peace. "
Mosley is known for his role in 8 seasons of Magnum PI and Theodore "TC" Calvin, the helicopter pilot and friend of Tom Seleck's character.
Mosley starred in more than 150 episodes of Magnum, PI alongside Tom Selleck on the crime-adventure series, which ran for eight seasons from 1980 to 1988.
He also appeared in "Sanford and Son", "Love Boat", "Kojak", "The Rockford Files", "Starsky and Hutch" etc.
