Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has reacted after Ukraine's victory at Eurovision. He thanked the hip-hop group "Kalush Orchestra" from his country, which took home the Eurovision Cup.
" Our courage impresses the world, our music conquers Europe!" - Zelensky wrote on Facebook, complimenting the representatives who defeated 24 other competitors in the race.
Ukraine won great public support from all over Europe for the war-torn nation.
The song " Stefania " by " Kalush " beat 24 competitors in the final of the biggest live music event in the world.
The winner of this competition awaits next year’s final, but with fierce fighting still going on in Ukraine, it is not known where the festival will be held in 2023.
