Elon Musk arrived on the red carpet at the Met Gala, but not with ex-partner Grimes nor with any new boyfriends. Musk brought his mom, supermodel Maye Musk as his companion to the big event, and spent some hilarious moments on the red carpet.
Met Gala 2022 is the first public event where the billionaire appears since the acquisition of Twitter a few days ago.
"My goal, assuming everything is done, is to make Twitter as comprehensive as possible and to have the widest possible group of people on Twitter," he told La La Anthony on the red carpet. "And be fun and funny, and people have as much fun as possible."
Speaking of his dress, Musk said he was "following the dress code" with his classic tuxedo. Meanwhile, Maye was wearing a cherry-colored velvet dress by Dior and pearl pendants wrapped around her neck.
