Would you say what a cosmetic brand has to do with the infamous trial of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard?

Well, the famous cosmetics brand Milan was recently involved in Depp's defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife Heard, as the latter claimed to be carrying a Milan correction palette (Milan Conceal + Perfect All-in-One Correcting Kit ) throughout his relationship with Johnny and said he used it to cover up injuries from physical abuse inflicted on Depp.

Milan immediately responded to the mention in court, through a 15-second video on the official TikTok account, to refute Heard's claim.

"You asked us… let the registration show that our correction kit was launched in 2017!" the post was overwritten. "Keep in mind: the alleged abuse was around 2014-2016, the divorce in 2016, the makeup palette release date: December 2017," read the text on the video showing Depp and Heard in the courtroom as the song is played. Backyardigans "International Super Spy".

The clip shows the Milan headquarters, where a young woman keeps a catalog of the company's products, open to the page describing the makeup compact. The camera then shows the release date of the product in 2017 - which means that Heard was not using that palette during her relationship with Depp.

"We are here to give the facts of the matter," the brand added in the comments.

The two actors have been arguing inside and outside the courtroom since they ended their marriage in 2017. The trial is still ongoing and will determine if Heard slandered Depp in the essay he publishes in the Washington Post in 2018. Depp , who has vehemently denied the allegations, is seeking at least $ 50 million to compensate for the damage done to his career, plus an additional $ 350,000 in damages, attorneys' fees and court costs.
