Actress Jennifer Coolidge revealed that she wanted to turn down her iconic role in "White Lotus" because she thought she was too fat for the role.
"I just did not want to be so fat in front of the camera, this is because of overeating during COVID," the 60-year-old told Page Six.
Coolidge admits she gained weight because "I thought we were all going to die, I really did, so I was just 'eating myself to death.' Vegan pizza, sometimes five or six a day. ”
The "Legally Blonde" star said he has gained about 15 pounds.
Coolidge revealed that she told her friend she was rejecting the offer because it was too sound. And she said, 'Jennifer this is all you have! These opportunities do not always come, idiots! ”
"We all need these friends," she explained. "Many actors make big mistakes, I do not know why, we want a great moment to happen, but then when it comes, we somehow get away with it, I think this is very typical for an actor. "But I had a great friend who stopped me from doing that."
Thankfully, Coolidge took on the role of Tanya McQuoid in the widely acclaimed mini-series.
Coolidge added that her other "White Lotus" movie friends did not even notice her weight gain.
