For several months, speculations that there is a connection between Kim Kardashian and Maluma have been circulating in the media. The news started right after Kim split from Kanye West and many people were excited by the idea that she and Maluma might have started a romance.
However, the Colombian singer clarified the nature of their close friendship in a recent interview with L'Officiel Hommes.
Admitting that he is not sure where the rumors about the romance started, Maluma said that he first met Kim and her sister Kourtney Kardashian at the Dior Men fashion show in Miami in December 2019.
"People started talking about her. I do not know why they started asking her. Maybe because she was divorcing? But no, we're good friends. We do not talk so often, but yes, we are good friends and always wish best for each other. "
Kim also talked about these rumors during the special reunion of Keeping Up With the Kardashians in June, when presenter Andy Cohen asked if the two were dating. Kim denied it and said that with Maluma they are just friends.
"I've met him several times, always in Miami," Kim said. "He's such a good guy."
So no sparks on the horizon, at least for now!
