Italian singer Bugo, after the constant media attacks after Sanremo 2020, took his colleague Morgan to court! Only now has the Milan Court reached a decision, giving Bugo the right.
The judges issued an order to ban the song with the infamous modified and distorted lyrics, starting with the words "your bad intentions, lack of education". Through a press release, the companies that manage and protect Bugo reiterated that the distortion made by Morgan violates the economic rights of its publishers and co-authors.
In practice, the Milan court ordered Morgan to remove this illegal content from his Instagram page and ordered him to discontinue future accompaniments to the song "Sincero" with modified and distorted lyrics, and ordered a sentence against him for any violation of these provisions.
Bugo and Morgan, after Sanremo 2020 have not made peace anymore and neither of them has commented on the recent court decision.
--------
For all those who do not remember, Morgan and Bugo were disqualified from the Sanremo race due to an incident caused by Morgan. As they took to the stage, Morgan began to sing while intentionally changing the lyrics of their song to make fun of Bugo. Embarrassed, Bugo left the stage. Morgan, meanwhile, pretending not to understand, asked, "What happened?"
These were the words sung by Morgan, unrelated to the text but intended to offend Bugo.
Bad intentions and lack of education / The bad image you left last night / Your ingratitude and arrogance / Do what you want, with your feet on your head / I try to make art / But you only know how to be envious / Thank God you are in this scene / Respect what brought you here ...
It is not known exactly what led Morgan to this move, however there was talk of a conflict between two colleagues, who have been friends for years.
