MacKenzie Scott, the 22nd richest person in the world - after a peaceful divorce from Amazon founder Jeff Bezos - has found love again and is married to science teacher Dan Jewett.
Scott, who has a fortune of $ 53 billion according to Forbes, signed Giving Pledge - a pledge to give half of her fortune to charity in her lifetime - when her divorce from Bezos was finalized in 2019. She has been an active philanthropist for two years, specifically giving $ 4 billion over four months to communities in need.
The news of Scott's marriage also came out through Giving Pledge.
"I am married to one of the most generous and best people I know - and I join her in a commitment to amass a great financial fortune to serve others," Jewett wrote in a Giving Pledge statement. posted on March 6th.
The couple apparently met at Lakeside School, a private school attended by Scott's children (and where Bill Gates went) and where Jeëett is a chemistry teacher.
