Abel, are you? The Weeknd kicked off 2021 with a whole new look and fans were left speechless by its transformation. The 30-year-old singer, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, posted a photo of himself appearing with a drastic change in his face, without giving any explanation.
Everyone thought that the result of the transformation was botox or various interventions that he may have performed on the face. The photo quickly went viral on social media and fans split into two groups, those who could not accept something like that and those who said they would support it anyway.
With this image, the singer also appeared in his video clip "Save Your Tears", published yesterday, on January 5th.

While the Daily Mail clarified to everyone when it reported that The Weeknd had simply put on prostheses. He has often experimented with the face recently, appearing with his head totally bandaged when he attended the American Music Awards. While in the "Blinding Lights" video, he had a bloody face. The drastic changes in his appearance, in all these cases, were created by Mike Marino, "Prosthetic Renaissance", which we must say has done a great job.
Weeknd told Variety that he intended to be more emotional on his latest album.
