A photo published by Dagospia has made the rounds of the Italian media these days and has sparked a debate over the "fake news" circulating in the media. The photo showed a man, who was said to be the Italian singer Luciano Ligabue, as he was kissing another man. His portrait was hidden, but the article said he was Ligabue, and even the title of the article was: "Who is the famous Italian singer who kisses a man?".

The singer denied the news on the stage of the Asioli di Correggio Theater, during the presentation of the autobiographical book "È andata così".

Addressing the public, Ligabue said:

"What I want to make known to everyone is that the damage that fake news causes is not only to those who get in the way, but also to those who read it, who will end up understanding less and less. "where the truth ends and the lie begins. I advise you to keep your antennas more and more elevated, there is no other way if you want to have the vision of the world close to a healthy view of the world."

In short, the man in the picture is not Luciano Ligabue.
