Maxine Young has told PEOPLE, that she and her husband, Jake, 32, have always wanted a big family, but never expected to have nine children in three years.
At the beginning of their relationship, the young couple was in favor of the idea of â??â??adoption.
'' When I was little, I always wanted to adopt a child in my future. Now, at an adult age, I started learning about child custody and was very sensitive about the fact that many children need a home. ''
Within a month, the couple adopted four children, a 4-year-old, a 5-year-old and an 11-month-old. It looks something wonderful and chaotic at the same time. Six months later, Maxine learned she was pregnant with her first biological baby.
"The moment the biological parents of four adopted children stripped them of all their rights over these children, we felt as if our family was getting even stronger."
When things seem like it could not be more chaotic than that, the biggest surprise comes when Maxine gets pregnant with triplets. A few weeks later, after several ultrasounds, doctors confirmed that she had four babies and not three.
