Samsung has officially unveiled the new foldable phone, the Galaxy Z Fold 2, with a screen larger than 7.6 inches and priced at 7 1,799.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2, unveiled at a virtual event yesterday, is the Korean company's third foldable phone and a new version of the original Galaxy Fold, launched last year.
When unfolded, the phone screen is larger and more square in shape than its predecessor and offers a more cinematic and comprehensive experience.
The device, which supports 5G network, also comes with an Infinity-O screen, which covers the entire phone and features a small camera.
The phone goes on sale on September 18, while pre-orders started yesterday on the Samsung website.
According to Samsung, the new Galaxy Z Fold 2 has been redesigned based on consumer feedback and smartphone user behaviors.
