Mario Dedivanovic is one of the most famous makeup artists in the world today and one of my favorite VIPs. However, his beginnings were not at all simple, not only to break into the difficult world of makeup, but also because his Albanian family, with a different mentality, could not allow his son to do make-up.

A month ago, when Mario was honored at the American Influencer Awards, he gave a lengthy talk about the difficulties he went through until the family agreed to do make-up, and revealed for the first time that is gay.

"My mom wasn't here at the launch, so I went with her to Sephora last night to see her for the first time," he writes alongside the photo, as he continues to tell part of his story:

â??She was with me 19 years ago when I was walking past a Sephora store and I wanted to go in and apply for a job. At that moment she grabbed me by the arm, pulling me out of the store. She told me that beauty and make-up were not for me. Thank God I had the courage to pursue the dream that day and in the years to come ... not many children do. I love you mom."

While his sister told "American Influencer Awards" the moment they realized he was doing make up.

â??He was 17 and we thought he was just selling make-up. Until one day I was looking for something in his closet and saw a box, opened it and saw make-up products. Growing up in a traditional Albanian family was very difficult because we had grown up with some rules and I knew my mom would get bored or embarrassed if she found out that my brother was wearing makeup. We asked him what that box was and he told us openly what his products were and he wanted to do make up. We tried to convince him not to do it, but he just got the box and left. He left with his dreams in his hands, the only thing he got was that box. Today I am proud of my brother, "said Mario's sister.

In tears Mario admits he is gay in saying a few words to Albanian families
