Like many girls eagerly awaiting to become first-time mothers, Tory Ojeda is excited about pregnancy with her first daughter! The 20-year-old Florida native is in a polymer relationship with four men. Ojeda told Barcroft Media that while the baby is biologically with one of its partners, the five plan to raise it together as a family.

Although Ojeda said she has received criticism from family members and friends about the unique nature of her relationship, the five currently live together and have been dating for several years. According to one of Ojeda's partners, Christopher, the pregnancy has actually helped his initially reluctant family to accept the polymeric nature of their family.

The five live together at their home in Jacksonville, Florida

Ojeda met her first partner Marc in high school and the two began dating when they were in high school. She became a polymer after falling in love with her boyfriend Travis just months after starting her relationship with Marc. Later, Ojeda began dating her friends Ethan and Christopher. After taking a vacation together earlier this year, she revealed she was pregnant with their daughter. While Marc is the biological father, Ojeda said they plan to raise their daughter as a large family collectively. Currently, the five all live together and make sure they sleep in bed with Ojeda on an equal footing.

The polymeric structure of the relationship does not come without jealousy

As with many different types of relationships, jealousy can be a problem at times, especially in terms of sharing time equally with Ojeda. Unlike some polymer situations in which all partners have romantic relationships with each other, Tory partners are only meeting with him and not with each other.

Despite issues of jealousy, Tory's partners maintain a positive outlook on dynamics and strive to have a healthy approach to dealing with any conflicts that arise. They even told Barcroft Media the open polymer nature of their relationship that helps curb a tension.

Ojeda is currently seven months pregnant and will give birth to her first daughter in two months. Many people in the world are starting to consider polymer as a concept rather than monogamy. While the structure of the Ojeda family may seem unusual, recent studies reveal that many people are actually considering being non-monogamous.

New research presented at the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality found that 20% of people have been in a polymer relationship, and most people have fantasized at least once in a non-monogamous relationship. While many do not act on their fantasies, 70% of those who reported feeling very satisfied with their experience said this exceeded any expectation.
