To the list of things you shouldn't put in your vagina, there's one you probably never thought of before: garlic! But as gynecologist Jen Gunter writes in a recent post on her blog, various women around the world are trying to treat vaginal yeast-type infections with garlic. And that's absolutely not a good idea!

Yeast infection is a fungal infection. And garlic seems to have anti-fungal properties, the doctor explains. But here are more than a few issues to discuss. First, the garlic has to be chopped to get the effect we want. "Imagine this in your vagina, where besides burning the area with garlic because it has spicy properties, you activate the possible bacteria that can get into the garlic," writes Dr. Gunter.

And if you think of another option, to put the garlic pieces in a gauze and then put it inside the vagina, this is also not a great idea. Garlic will not be in direct contact with your tissue and is unlikely to give the effect you want to fight the infection and it is even likely that the lint will cause irritation.

What woman wants all these unpleasant consequences for herself? We think no one! So, from today girl don't do it anymore!
