Quinta Da Pacheca are Portugal's famous vineyards that already offer customers an unusual accommodation. We say weird because the rooms are large barrels of wine tailored like hotel rooms and where nothing is missing. The rooms have a large bed, toilet, wifi, air conditioning and ceiling with glass part where you can see the stars at night. Not to mention then the picturesque view from the windows. Just think of waking up in a wooden room in the middle of the vineyards. Wouldn't that be a unique experience?
The vineyards are located in the Douro River Valley, east of the city of Porto. In total there are 15 rooms open to anyone who wants to spend some vacation differently. The hotel also offers many other activities such as picnic, wine tasting, cooking lessons, grape harvesting and printing. You can also take boat rides on the Douro River.
