The last four minutes before the tragic car crash that killed Princess Diana remained a mystery even after 22 years, with the lone survivor unable to recall what happened just 5 minutes after the car she was traveling in. Princess, leave the hotel.

The news of Princess Diana's death on August 31, 1997 was a shock to the whole world, after learning of the accident that took the life of the Princess of all people, at the age of 36, in Paris.

That night, the late Princess was in the back seat of a Mercedes S280 with her boyfriend, Dodi Al-Fayed, driver Henri Paul and Trevor Rees-Jones, a member of Al-Fayed's security team, seated in the seats First.

Rees-Jones, now known as Trevor Rees, suffered tremendous injuries but was the only person to survive the fatal accident. Princess Diana, Mr Al-Fayed and Mr Paul died, despite doctors' efforts to escape.

Trevor Rees

Rees has never been able to recall what happened that tragic night, from the moment he got into the car and into the collision.

This has, in fact, drawn attention and aroused great suspicion in these 22 years, and even critics have gone so far as to consider Trevor Rees the protagonist of conspiracy theories.

In a 2000 interview, Rees said: "I'm the only person who can really tell people, but I can't remember ... It would be so easy if I could remember because" all this ... "It would end"

The "all that ..." that Rees refers to is the conspiracy theory about the car crash, just five minutes after the car left the hotel.

Mercedes, pursued by paparazzi trying to take pictures of Diana, crashed into the 13th pillar in the Pont d'Alma tunnel near the Seine River.

Eight years later, Rees underwent 10 hours of surgery and then shared with everyone what he remembered that night, but warned he doubted his memory. "I remember stopping at the traffic light and seeing a motorcycle on the right side of the car ..." he said then, but those four minutes still remained a mystery.
