Just one night before the big celebration, at the end of Ramadan, one of the most beloved months of Muslim believers, everyone is ready. Bajram Day should be a great holiday day where to celebrate this month's achievements and not be a day of pawns that we could not use this month's bounty.
The noble month of Ramadan, every believing family experiences it differently. Picking up iftars for friends, family, and lovers is a religious tradition that Albanians have inherited from generation to generation, as part of hospitality and brotherhood. Afterwards, the meetings and visits after the iftar for tea and coffee are known as traditional ones, where no sweets are lacking.
The night before Eid is called dinners before Eid, which is spent preparing Eid 's cooks, cleaning the house, making plans on how the Eid party will pass. The delivery of the Phytrans (lots of money or food for people in need for the celebration of Eid's holiday) is done this night for the reason that the needy are also fed on Eid Day. Tradition has also been the purchase of new clothing for children who found them in the morning either at bedside or under the pillow. The fall of the drums announcing the opening of the iftar on the Eid day begins after the prayers of Fajr prayer. Toyraxhi was someone who did it voluntarily and as a result, he was part of the sacrifice and food of Eid. Since the early hours of the morning, the Eid al-Fitr celebration is celebrated with Sabah's forgiveness. For all Muslims, this celebration is of special importance, as it gives them the opportunity to make connections with God and with other people.
Preparations for the feast
The preparations for the Eid al-Fitr holiday started from the day before. During the evening, the housewives are committed to preparing the meals that will be consumed during the next day when the party will be celebrated. Much attention is paid to sweets. The most used cake in Muslim families is baklava, but other cakes are not excluded. According to preference can be cooked hallow, kadif, trileÄe etc. Early in the morning, the washing of the body and the dress of the most beautiful or new clothes and jewelery should be done. Before leaving home, preferably eating dessert or dates to show that this day is a feast and there is no more sacrifice for fasting. The holiday menu
This celebration as well as that of Kurban Bajram are the biggest holidays of the Muslim calendar, so the table decoration is devoted a special importance. Certainly the presence of meat is indisputable on a party table in Albania. During this celebration it is not obligatory to become a sacrifice, so believers can buy their flesh. More lamb meat is preferred, but beef or poultry finds room to be included in the menu of this holiday. You can cook lamb in the oven accompanied by garnish. The fruit of the season is not lacking in the table.
Visits to relatives
During the celebration of this festive day, after a month of sacrifice, believers tend to establish a stronger bond between one another. Therefore, after the morning prayers, they exchange visits among relatives. Usually, symbolic gifts are also exchanged during these visits. It is reported that all members of the family gathered and ate Eid al-Fitr lunch at the home of their parents, siblings, or brothers.
Doing Sadaqa
Donating something to those who do not have a very significant act during the celebration of the Eid al-Fitr holiday. This holiday itself is related to the act of donation. Giving or giving alms may be in income or in food. More food can be cooked, whole lamb, etc. We consume some of the food with relatives during the Eid of Eid, another part we distribute to the neighbors, and another part we forgive the families in need or the orphan children who are unable to sit at a table to celebrate.
