Arben Xoxa was born in Tirana on May 1, 1952, the son of Dhurata and Jakov Xoxa. She studied language and literature and specializes in art criticism, always with excellent results. He then worked for many years as a lecturer at the University of Tirana, head of the Ministry of Education, Academy of Sciences, RTSH and then since 1996 as Director of the Encyclopedic Publishing House, staying close to his greatest professional love, books .
From youth until late he was engaged in the local and foreign press, publishing hundreds of scriptures and studies, and well-known as one of the prominent personalities of Albanian critical thinking.
Always a patriot, in recent years, has withdrawn from the press and devoted himself to publishing works of light on Albanian history and issue.
Arben Xoxa had a quiet and very happy family. He died in the arms of his wife Valbona and his daughter Ajola Xoxa, who is the wife of the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.
