Just like every year, New York has developed the most important beauty contest, Miss New York. In this race has managed to triumph an Albanian, which left behind many other girls, just as beautiful. The 27-year-old beauty is called Florinda Kajtazi and is originally from Kosovo, though long living in Yonkers, New York. In addition to the big prize, Florinda has also managed to snatch the Miss Fotozhenia prize.
She was handed the Miss New York award from last year's winner, Genesis Suero. The Albanian beauty will feature New York in the 68th edition of Miss USA, whose winner was Sarah Rose Summers.
